How GWK’s Executive Team engaged, inspired and lead through change
GWK’s inspiring purpose is ‘to feed the people who feed the people.’
However, even industry leaders face challenges and have to rethink their strategies. It was during this time that Llewellyn Brooks, Group Managing Director, was appointed. “We needed to address the challenges and set a new direction. To do this, we had to adopt a new strategy and build a highly efficient Exco team,” shares Llewellyn.
Our partnership with GWK began in 2018. Since then, their commitment to achieving their vision and shared goals has led to significant improvements in the business’s performance and health.

Shark Nets Stakeholders Think Tank
After a spate of shark attacks in the 1950’s and 1960s, shark nets were introduced to protect bathers. Unfortunately, these nets kill hundreds of sharks, dolphins, turtles and stingrays each year.
“We cannot afford to lose more of these vital animals, but its difficult to withdraw protection as people’s lives are at stake,” shares Shanan Atkins, Marine Biologist and Ph.D. candidate of the University of the Witwatersrand (Wits).
Believing that there is a win-win solution, Shanan reached to CreateConsulting to design and facilitate an online Shark Nets Stakeholder Think Tank for 30 - 40 of the stakeholders closest to the issue, to explore opportunities for change.
